The Oakview Juvenile Residential Center is a 24-bed residential facility in St.Clairsville, Ohio, which houses adjudicated male felony offenders between ages 12-17. An Executive Board of Judges oversees the operation.

The Board consists of six juvenile court judges from the counties of Belmont, Guernsey, Harrison, Jefferson, Monroe, and Noble. Youth may be placed here from any of Ohio’s 88 counties in lieu of placement into an Ohio Department of Youth Services facility. To meet Oakview’s mission statement, the staff at OJRC provide a holistic approach by using the basic reality based tenets of choice theory to promote positive behavior modification and the desire to life a crime-free life.
