Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services

Oakview collaborates with The Village Network for mental health and drug/alcohol counseling. Therapists are on-site to provide counseling. All youth complete one group and one individual session each week and biweekly family sessions. A substance abuse education group is offered for youth requiring those services. Youth also participate in a partial day treatment program consisting of mental health and cognitive behavioral therapy groups five days a week. A substance abuse education group is offered for youth requiring those services. The Village Network also provides the youth with psychiatric evaluations and medication monitoring. If a youth needs a psychological evaluation, a referral is made to West Liberty University.
